What do our cells have to do with it?

From my last post we realize that supplements are important because we are not getting all of our vitamins and minerals from food.

Before we get into what vitamins and minerals do for your body, I think we need to understand our bodies and cells first!

Many people feel that our bodies age, get sick and get diseases. In fact it's not our bodies but our cells. Everyone is made up of 100 trillion cells. We must nourish our cells with the nutriton they need to stay healthy.

Unhealthy cells are damaged and destory other cells in your body. They are called free radicals and this occurs from environmental toxins, smoking, stress, sunlight, pollution, and poor food choices to name a few.

In order to help these unhealthy cells, you need to supply them with Antioxidants. The Antioxidants turn unhealthy cells into healthy cells! Therefore it reduces your risk to aging, sickness and disease.

Where do you find antioxidants?

Fruits, veggies and organic food. Also high quality nutritional supplements!

You need a supplement that is absorbed in your body and not one that stays undissolved from the time it enters the body to when it exits.

Therefore, NOT all supplements are the same! You need to arm yourself with the knowledge to determine if what your taking is good for you or not.

Listen to your body. Your health is the most important thing in your life.

Next you will learn about vitamins and minerals followed with how to choose a supplement that works the way it is supposed to.

To Your Health,
Stacy Stehle
