Happy Thanksgiving!

This past year I am truly grateful for many things.

The most important I have to say is the relationships and friendship that I have developed. I wanted to let you all know that I sincerely appreciate you and your time to read my blog!

I am working on a new blog site for moms and I would love to see you over there:

May each and everyone of you have a blessed holiday!

How Am I Breaking My Old Routine To Allow More Time For Myself?

Last Friday my friend, Tina and I had our biweekly buddy coaching session. We work together on applying energy management tools so we can better coach ourselves and our clients.

We each come to the session with a goal, challenge or project that we want to tackle. This week I wanted to work on setting a plan for me to have morning time for myself.

I am a stay-at-home mom of a 18 month old boy who takes up most of my day, but I also run a home business that takes up the other part of my time. I can say that I am fully taking advantage of this wonderful life.

In the mornings I would get up when my husband gets up to leave for work and that starts my day of making breakfast, lunch, getting my husband out the door and then my son up in the morning. Then business time would follow.

Needless to say, I wouldn't want to go anywhere because I never had the time to get myself ready! I wasn't getting time for ME!

So, my goal was to work on changing my belief that I could get up everyday, during the weekday, to allow time for me to get ready, meditate and center but also get my day planned and started on the right foot.

Tina, my buddy coach, walked my through a process of changing my belief and we set up a goal that allows me to get up early every morning and have time for me.

How am I doing it? How am I breaking my old routine to allow more time for myself?

Tina reminded me that it takes 21 days to change a habit!

We worked by changing my current belief that I could not get up early to something that felt a little bit better by walking through an energy blue print chart!

I came up with an action plan that allows me to be accountable to someone every morning and if I fail there is a consequence!

So far, So good! I have completed 4 of the 21 days and I have to tell you that I feel so energized, confident and peaceful as I go through my day because I have started it off with ME time!

What are you waiting for? It only takes 21 days to change a habit but it can take a second to change a belief!

To Your Success,
